Growth Partner

This is a full-time, remote position. This position can work from anywhere within the United States and will report directly to the Head of Business Development & Growth. 

The Position

We Are Rosie is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Growth Partner to support the Business Development team and help We Are Rosie achieve its growth goals. Reporting to the Head of Business Development & Growth, the Growth Partner will play a critical role in assisting with pitches, sourcing talent, and managing the end-to-end process for inbound leads. This includes responding to all inquiries, sharing WRR’s unique selling proposition in a consistent and bespoke way, qualifying potential partners, staying up-to-date on industry intelligence, and sharing intelligence between our clients and our internal team. The role will sit within the Business Development team and have exposure to and knowledge across all business areas, embracing skill development.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with a strong sales mindset, capable of identifying client needs, sourcing the best talent, and providing support throughout the sales process.

 

Responsibilities

Deal Support & Pitch Assistance:

  • Assist the Business Development team in creating and delivering compelling pitches and presentations for new clients
  • Project manage and/or support the development of pitch collateral
  • Collaborate with the team to develop customized proposals and solutions, including serving as a talent partner and supporting matchmaking for specific client needs (including sample talent)
  • Support the negotiation process and provide operational insight to ensure alignment between client expectations and We Are Rosie’s service offerings & internal processes

SMB Lead & Account Management:

  • Manage inbound SMB leads through the full sales cycle—from lead qualification and pitch development to closing deals and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Act as the primary point of contact for SMB prospects, guiding them through the sales process and ensuring that they receive timely, accurate information about We Are Rosie’s offerings
  • Conduct discovery calls, understand client needs, and provide tailored solutions to close business opportunities
  • Follow up with leads consistently to maintain momentum and ensure opportunities are converted to signed agreements
  • For SMB accounts, manage post-sale opportunity pipeline across Salesforce and SmartRecruiters to ensure accurate revenue forecasting and expedite the deal close
  • Maintain weekly reporting spreadsheets and stay on top of changes in utilization and PO budget management.
  • Manage SOW creation for Matched By engagements
  • Handle Rosie onboarding. When necessary, track Rosie hours compared to scope, and support off-boarding.
  • Ensure alignment and adherence to WRR workflows and processes

Sales Process & Reporting:

  • Maintain an organized pipeline of leads, opportunities, and deals in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Track sales activity, provide regular updates on progress to the Head of Business Development and contribute to sales forecasting and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Business Development and Head of Marketing to refine lead management strategies and improve the conversion rate of inbound leads

Client, Rosie & Internal Collaboration:

  • Ensure smooth handoffs between business development and client experience teams once deals are closed
  • When necessary, collaborate with Finance, Business Operations, and People Operations to lead essential functions, including on-boarding/off-boarding, billing, and SOW creation/modifications
  • Build strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide proactive solutions that drive business growth
Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client services, with a focus on managing inbound leads, supporting the sales process, and talent sourcing
  • Experience working with SMB clients, particularly in the marketing, advertising, or creative industries.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling pitches and proposals
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under deadlines
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and a customer-first mindset
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple client needs simultaneously
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Docs
  • Knowledge of talent sourcing and recruitment practices, particularly in the creative and marketing industries, is a plus
  • Strong collaborator and partner
  • Self-starter who can work autonomously
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a passion for creativity and innovation
  • Excited to build and okay with ambiguity

Compensation: Base salary range of $70,000 – $80,000 *

*For compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. We share salary ranges on all job postings to provide transparency to candidates to ensure the time you invest in your We Are Rosie application is aligned with your highest good.
