Group Account Director

This is a full-time, remote position. This position can work from anywhere within the United States and will report directly to the VP of Client Experience.

 

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Group Account Director to lead and grow client relationships, drive integrated marketing solutions, ensure the delivery of exceptional talent and work, and deliver organic revenue growth for We Are Rosie. This individual will serve as a senior partner to clients, providing strategic oversight and managing a portfolio of high-value accounts. They will also mentor their pod, ensuring alignment with We Are Rosie’s company values, goals and client expectations.

Compensation: Base salary range of $140,000 to $150,000, plus commission.*

*For compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. We share salary ranges on all job postings to provide transparency to candidates to ensure the time you invest in your We Are Rosie application is aligned with your highest good.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Leadership
    • Act as the primary strategic advisor for clients, ensuring their business objectives align with We Are Rosie’s talent, creative and marketing solutions.
    • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients by spending time with them in person and gaining a deep understanding of their business needs and goals.
    • Identify opportunities for account growth by understanding clients’ evolving business challenges and priorities.
    • Lead senior-level client presentations and discussions, demonstrating expertise in marketing talent strategy, creative solutions, and business outcomes.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Oversee and guide the account pod in planning, matchmaking, execution, and delivery of talent and/or project deliverables.
    • Manage and mentor account directors and account executives, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, which drives exceptional results.
  • Strategic Planning and Growth
    • Navigate complex, matrixed organizations to identify new relationships and proactively seek new business opportunities to increase account profitability.
    • Lead strategic discussions with clients to align We Are Rosie services with their business goals and long-term strategies.
    • Act as the CEO of your book of business, developing annual account plans and taking full ownership of strategic bets, revenue forecasting and ensuring operational rigor across your pod.
    • Monitor industry trends to anticipate client needs and proactively offer innovative solutions.
    • Analyze project performance metrics and market trends to recommend actionable insights and drive results.
  • Solutions, Scoping & Delivery:
    • Develop and present persuasive, consultative sales presentations that clearly articulate We Are Rosie’s model, value proposition, and solutions
    • Lead and manage the development of all RFP proposals within your book of business
    • Develop and scope strategic recommendations that address the client’s business problems
    • Effectively negotiate and drive scopes of work
    • Translate client objectives into actional briefs for internal teams.
    • Oversee the delivery of talent and creative services, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practices.
    • Responsible and accountable for pod performance and flawless delivery, ensuring the team maintains quality standards across all deliverables meets client expectations and brand guidelines.
  • Financial Accountability
    • Utilize CRM systems to build and track pipeline performance, continuously showing pipeline growth.
    • Develop and manage client budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely billing.
    • Drive organic revenue growth through upselling opportunities within the client portfolio.
    • Meet or exceed revenue targets, anticipate any challenges, and work with your team, leadership, and cross-functional partners to determine strategies to overcome possible shortfalls.
    • Oversee/Negotiate contracts, scopes of work, and fees with clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction leading to long-term engagement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in account management, with at least 3–5 years at a senior level. Within an agency or brand in-house agency.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-channel accounts with diverse service offerings.
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing strategies, creative production, recruitment, and talent management.
  • Understanding of the complex advertising landscape and how to bring together cohesive teams and programs to drive results.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to forecast accurately and highly proficient at actively managing a sales pipeline
